Designed for use with the CGDI K2 Programmer, this chip gives you the flexibility to generate a wide range of transponder types with just one chip. Reliable, cost-effective, and easy to use, a must-have for every locksmith working with the CGDI K2 Remote Generator.

How to Use the CGDI CP8X Super Chip with the CGDI K2

Step 1: Insert the Super Chip
Place the CP8X Super Chip into the dedicated chip slot on your CGDI K2 device.

Step 2: Open the Chip Conversion Menu
On your CGDI K2, navigate to:
More Function → CP8X Super Chip

Step 3: Choose Chip Type & Enter ID

1. Select your target chip type from the list:

   • ID46

   • ID4E 46_EXT

   • ID7938 (ID47)

   • ID49

   • IDDST80

   • DST80_4D72G

   • ID4E

   • ID48

   • IDTEMIC11

   • IDTEMIC12

   • IDMEGAMOS13

   • ID4A

   • ID8A (H)

   • 8A (Blank) Chip

   • ID4C

2. Example: Choose “Set as ID46”.

3. Tap “Settings” (middle-bottom of the screen).

4. Enter the Chip ID (e.g., 12567121).

5. Press Continue to begin the conversion.

Step 4: Confirm the Conversion Was Successful

1. Navigate to:
   Chip Identification Copy → Chip Identification

2. Check that the displayed ID matches the one you entered.

   • Example: 12567121

If it matches, the chip conversion is successful.
